Percy and Annabeth were together in the hospital. The two had been injured, badly, fighting the Hydra. They beat it of course, they hadn’t lost to anything. As the poison racked through their bodies, Annabeth looked at Percy, as her eyes closed, and she heard a long beep....
The moment her eyes opened, she saw a beautiful room around her, and she felt a queen sized bed under her. She sat up, and looked around for Percy, until she realized it. Annabeth felt tears, of both sadness and joy, run down her face, because she knew that Percy wasn’t dead. Had he beaten the venom? Was he in a coma? Before she could continue, she blinked, and there he was, raven black hair tousled, and his eyes with a mischievous gleam, looking at her. She hugged him, and she spoke, sobbing into his shoulder.“I thought you had lived... I didn’t know whether to be happy or sad..” Percy looked into her eyes. “Wise girl, did you really think I could live without you?”
