THINGS ABOUT ME IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

I'm a sucker for true love, soul mates, and deep human-animal bonds. 

My bestie is the love of my life. We have fur babies and adore our numerous nieces and nephews. Together we grow peaches on a lakeside small farm.

I'm an archaeologist turned tech entrepreneur turned aspiring novelist. 

I fall in and out of love with reading all the time, but I will always love writing. 

The authors I grew up reading --Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, Robert Jordan, and Piers Anthony, to name a few-- shaped me into the person I am today. (Vanyel is devastatingly beautiful, Moreta and Rowan are *the* baddest, Rune is who I dreamt of becoming.) 

I dream about writing like Madeline Miller, one day. Sigh.

I hope my writing makes people feel something. I hope my writing helps people discover something about themselves.

Some of what I've written is okay, a lot of it's bad, and sometimes I get a sentence or two right. I love it all. Writing is how I play and learn. My favourite genres to play with are middle grade and adult speculative fiction.
