I'm thinking it could go two ways. He didn't change and she ends up getting screwed but then is too ashamed to go back to Noah, and then that's when Noah realizes he loved her (during their hug after he finds out to something) ORR he did change and it is great but then DIXIE realizes that it's not everything she thought it would be and she can't stop thinking of Noah and then bam. But idk I mean I really haven't given it much thought...
