Hope everyone has a Happy New Year in 2025. There's some things you should know since the last time I've posted.

For the last summer and fall, I've been unemployed. Thankfully, I finally got a new job at a Home Depot store before the Christmas season came. Then my parents are planning to move into a new place, but I can't stay with them because the new apartment they're heading to only looks after the elderly (anyone at 55+).

So, I'm looking for a new home to move into and going back to being independent once more. I really hope I get a new place soon.

But other than that, I've been rather focused on trying a lot of fanfic writing on Discord, and it's been working very well so far. And now, I'm ready to tackle onto my original stories. Be prepared to see what I have in mind. Maybe you'll even see what I once brought here. Only time will tell.

I want to say that I've stepped back from Wattpad, but I'd be lying. I mainly took a step back from writing in general and created a different account on here, specifically for writing. All I did over there was pretty much the same from before.

And now, Wattpad is a far cry from what it was when I first joined. It's less of a social media with readers and writers alike, but now it's more of a business-related social media with all the recent changes. I want to write, but I hate doing it because of anxiety, self-doubt, and my perfectionist needs. Sometimes, I don't get enough praise for my writing because I haven't tried to reach out. I'm ready to come back because I want to be a writer with stories for everyone to enjoy. And I don't need to strive for famous worldwide author to be a writer.

Looking forward to what you decide to show us! I agree with everything you said about Wattpad btw

This is an important announcement and I need everyone to listen well when I say this:

I'm leaving Wattpad for a while. I haven't updated my original story or even made a fanfic in a long time for everyone else to read and enjoy. I have plans, but I spent more time reading other people's books than make my own. And my life at the moment is in a transition of change, so I'm having trouble finding my rhythm. I'm taking a step back to have my creativity build up before I return to Wattpad. It could be weeks. It could be months. But ultimately, I can't live my life if there's no rhythm or something to add to it to make it feel joyous.

So this is goodbye for now. I'm gonna unplublish my original works until I've finished writing them. I'll miss reading the stories I've found here. I'll miss talking to others through comments or DMs. And I'm gonna miss the new books that could come to life here. In the end, I'll remember who inspired me to create my own stories and my worlds. Goodbye, everyone! And thank you for everything!

Hey! I just wanted to thank you for binge reading my My Hero Academia fanfic, it makes me really happy and I hope you enjoy it ^^

AlanSoujikyuu

@doctor_SHIELD THANK YOU SO MUCH! You totally understood what I wanted to do with this fanfic that I've been planning from start to finish for a little over 2 years. And it's true that as a big comic book nerd, I was inspired a lot by Marvel and DC for my OCs, especially the adults. With all the effort I put into this fanfic, I'm really pleased and very touched that you understand and appreciate it so much ^^

@AlanRbl I really do enjoy it!! It's like you remodeled the original MHA series and made it better! Instead of villains just attacking the hero students wily nily at about every other month in the timeline, you've planned it out and brilliantly executed it! You've even made some of the pro hero OCs more similar to the heroes from DC and Marvel Comics! I love it so much!!

@doctor_SHIELD So, did you have anymore questions at this time?

doctor_SHIELD

@Trishula97 that's good to hear! Good luck with everything!!

@doctor_SHIELD Oh don't worry, you're not the first to critique the crappy paragraph styles of writing. Thus is why I switched to a script style of writing for the sequels, it made everything so much clearer for everyone. There was just too much done to Ace that it'd take me so long to put it into that style of writing, and i'd rather keep my sanity. And sorry about all the questions, it's just me. I'll try to resist asking any further questions. But thank you for the criticism, even if it's harsh(and i'm not saying yours is), I always take it as advice i'm doing something wrong and that it's something I need to fix.

@Trishula97 it is annoying, but it's endearing in a way. Just shows that you care about your stories and everyone's gonna think and say. And the only thing that I have to critique about your stories, you have a lot of paragraphs that are super long. I sometimes get lost in the paragraphs, trying figure what's what, follow the details and it's confusing for my brain. It would be nice if you could space out some of the sentences at a certain point in the paragraph in order for readers to understand what's going on. It's just me saying what I think about how you write your stories and I can be too vague or too demanding, so this is just my way of critiquing you. It's not a bad thing to write hyper long paragraphs with so much details. I do that too, just to set the record straight.
