Little bit of an update: 
          
          I know, I know! Trust me, I know!!! 
          
          I keep getting comments on the book from new readers asking where the sequel is, that’s it’s been years, and so on. I get it. 
          
          But I wanted to point out I don’t write full time and that this is going to take some time! The beginning of the year is really busy for me and I just came back from a trip a week ago where I did everything but think about the book. So, please. Be kind. I haven’t forgotten, I promise. 
          
          Anyways, just got hard editing the prologue. Doing grammar check and then it’s off to the real world!

Phew! Just got done rewriting the new chapter 14! I’m very satisfied with how it’s going so far so I figured I’d post an update! 
          
          At the moment, it’s looking like ATOBAS will be severely compacted, reduced from 60 chapters to 30 chapters. Don’t worry, you will not be getting any less story. I have just been adding two of the old chapters into one of the new ones. 
          
          The reason being because as I kept drafting the re-write I was going through the fic and kept going, “*This* is where I left the chapter off? That’s such an awful cliffhanger!” Not to mention I was using the cliffhangers as excuses to sweep some stuff under the rug that never got revisited. 
          
          So, it just made sense to do that and it also helps with the flow of the story, so hopefully it won’t be too confusing this time around. 
          
          With the new concept of shortening the amount of chapters in half, now that the rewrite for chapter 14 is complete all that’s left to do is re-write chapter 15. Then those chapters will go through a series of edits. The draft is the first step, then soft edits (that’s the grammatical corrections), and then the HARD edits (to make sure it’s all cohesive and nothing gets left behind), and then it’s signed, sealed and delivered to you!! 
          
          To any new followers of mine, welcome! You’re in for a treat. For my loyal readers that have re-read ATOBAS 288439933 times and have lovingly never given up and asked an equal amount of times for me to do ANYTHING, your hard work and dedication has paid off.

Currently on chapter 15 of revisiting the fic for the rewrite—everything has started to go downhill and I don’t know how y’all stayed through it. Not to mention I haven’t even made it to the random omegaverse addition of the fic ‍♀️ 
          
          I owe you guys a whole saga at this point, my LORD. 
          
          Anyways!! I officially have 10 completed but unedited chapters of the rewrite that I am SO satisfied with! I’m wanting to get to at least chapter 30 before I start posting the rewritten chapters. Stay tuned!!!

Hello!!! 
          
          It’s been QUITE a long time since I’ve posted anything on here, and I wanted to formally apologize. I’m not sure that anyone reads these as soon as I post them, but I just wanted to thank anyone and everyone that is still giving ATOBAS all the love. 
          
          I don’t know how you guys do it, the story is a rollercoaster. ‍♀️ I’m re-reading to I can rewrite it and I am this  close to admitting myself into a psych ward. I’m having a hard time getting from point A to point B because there are A LOT of plot holes, a lot of things that don’t get mentioned again, inconsistencies in character personalities and characteristics, not to mention the sad *attempt* at some form of A/B/O without the breeding factor and…good god. 
          
          You guys really have stuck it out for me and I cannot tell you how AWFUL of an author I have been. At this moment I have decided to pause the sequel—I KNOW, I KNOW—in order to be able to redirect my energy to rewriting the first book. AND making new cover art posters so that I don’t get people asking “where’s the drarry” because they didn’t read the tags and only looked at the cover. 
          
          I’m double, triple, quadruple fact checking and citing and sourcing the original work, which is still going to take a while but should still be faster work due to the fact that the story is already written, I’ll just be doing some HARD editing. Construction work, is more like it, actually. 
          
          Anyways, this is all I have for an update, I hope there’s still at least ONE reader who hasn’t lost faith in me, but alas, I am doing this for MYSELF first and foremost.

Hello everybody!! 
          
          I hope you are all well and healthy! I am re-reading ATOBAS and let me just say….
          
          JEEZ. 
          
          I know I said I would continue the sequel, AND I AM, I PROMISE!! I have 20 chapters down already!! But…
          
          I think I may definitely have to rewrite ATOBAS since there’s so many holes in the story line—also can we take a moment to actually appreciate my writing style (I thought a couple years down I would read it again and absolutely hate it but it’s actually so well written!) ?????? 
          
          Anyways! The reason I’m posting it here is because I’m not sure if I should finish the sequel first and THEN rewrite ATOBAS, or rewrite ATOBAS first and then finish the sequel. 
          
          I don’t usually get many replies here at all so I’m hoping this catches some attention. If not I’ll just rewrite it after I finish the sequel.
