I'm almost finished the next chapter of Maw of The Dragon, but I felt I should let yall know why updates stalled.
I am in fact a victim of the AO3 curse.
They turned off our electricity for non-payment, but we have receipts showing we were paying. Bank statements. So when we called to find out what in the four-non-blondes was going on, we found out that for three years (three years!) we've been putting money on the wrong account. An account, mind you, that *doesn't exist.*
What the fuck, right?
They wanted us to pay 3000$ to get it turned back on and like, I cannot just pull 3k out of my ass, so we were without power for two weeks. Then, surprise of all surprises, the electric company's in house collection agency calls us and was like
'Hey, this is actually on us for not telling you this money wasn't going on an active account. So we're going to take what you've paid and put it on your account. Your power will be back on in 36 hours.'
So, power is back, but I can't catch a break, and the external hard drive I keep all my writing one bit the dust. Thankfully this chapter was started in a browser writing doc but fuck man. Years worth of writing on that hard drive. The outline doc for MOTD was also on that drive, so I'm gonna have to rewrite the outline for the last few chapters. Ahhhhhhh.
Chapter eleven should be up in a few days.
