*UPDATE CONTINUED*

Here's the full reason I'm cancelling Paranoia. I felt it needed a separate post to fully explain what went wrong with it.
          	:
I have a close friend on here, MusicIsMySoul. We'd been planning on doing a cowritten story together for a while, and I promised her I'd start it after The White Rosebush was finished. Shortly after I was done, we still hadn't come up with an idea for about a month, so I decided to start a sequel, named Paranoia. I got the prologue done, but hit a massive writer's block with it. Not long after that, we came up with our cowrite idea and Paranoia slowly was shoved to the very deepest recesses of my brain, where it hibernated for at least a year. There were a few times I tried to update, but it never flowed - I was completely in love with the series I'd created with MusicIsMySoul and could not concentrate on anything else. I still am. It has exceeded our wildest expectations and we are without a doubt now getting this series published.

Today, since that series is nearing the end of its second book, I was going to see what I could do about Paranoia after a year with no updates, but I've realized something. My writing style has completely changed. I looked back at The White Rosebush, and honestly guys, when I compare it to The Urbem and Momentum (the cowritten stories), it doesn't even sound like the same person wrote them. If I were to update now, you wouldn't believe I was the same author. I know I'm disappointing a lot of you by cancelling Paranoia, and I'm sorry about that, but I can't bring myself to write it.

Hi Ashley
Your point 2 in your biog resonates with me - totally agree, and as an Englishman I love that you adore our country. Good luck with the writing - I have started The White Rosebush and am intrigued to see where you're taking this.
          Jonathan

*UPDATE*

So today, I decided to log in here and when I looked at the amount of fans I now have, I was filled with a strong mixture of gratitude and immense guilt. I have way too many stories on here that I haven't finished, or just lost my inspiration for. I feel bad for those of you that might be waiting for an update, so here's a quick update on what's going on with each story.

          1. The White Rosebush. I might go back and edit the early chapters someday because I'm not happy with most of them, but, for now it'll remain the same.

          2. Paranoia. Unfortunately, I'm strongly considering deleting it. I have simply lost my inspiration for a sequel to that story. There have been many times over the past year I've tried to go back and update it, but I think I'm just going to end it. Why? I feel like The White Rosebush ended on a satisfying enough note and a sequel isn't necessary. Someday I might write a part two, but for now, its on a permanent hiatus. I'm sorry to fans of the series, but I can't bring myself into a mood to write it.

          3. My Life as a Californian Chicken. I'm deleting it. I'm pretty sure my fanbase for that story has completely died. I started it to make a statement, but I myself don't even agree with the views I have expressed through that story anymore. For any of you that wanted to know how it was going to end, they all die. Just like they would if they were real chickens.

          4. Siberian Cold. I still have interest in that one, and since, for any of you that didn't notice, The White Rosebush was a Hetalia fanfiction, I'll write it as a Young Russia fanfiction. It will be just a traumatic as Ivan's life, believe me.

          5. The Day of the Dolphin. I won't delete it, but I'm not sure where I'm going with it at the moment. It was the first story I ever started, so I DO want to finish it, but for now, its on hold.

          5. Project Preservation. I'm deleting it. The idea is being combined with another story on my cowrite.

          6. Pack Runner. It will be updated soon :)
