Born in Michigan and raised on a working farm, T.W. Krueger developed his love and appreciation for animals at an early age. As a young adult he managed to run a successful business as well as his farming operation, breeding Registered Polled Hereford cattle. Along with his wife Pat, they raised five sons.

By 1978, Tom relocated his family to Florida where he continued his business ventures until his semi-retirement in 2007.
