Molucules and atoms go faster and slower depending on their temputure; the hotter it is the faster it vibrates/attracts, the colder it is the slower this prosess goes. The more an object moves (or the more heat said object has) the more kinetic energy it has. This kinetic energy can also transfer; like if you put a metal spoon in a hot cup of tea, the heated up molucules from the tea vibrate and get the molucules inside of the metal spoon to move around and heat up. Melting is a prosess where a solid (like ice) vibrate and start to move, breaking apart and turning into liquid. Subimator is when a soild turns into a gas; this prosess requires pressure and heat to make the molucules in a soild vibrate anbd break apart fast enough to create a gas. Evaporation is one of the most common out of the eight typed of state-to-state changes. This requires loose molucules inside of a liquids to spread out and vibrate more, turning this into a gas. A special thing about this is that heat can make this prosess gio quicker or slower depending on the heat and different liquids have different rates of evaporation. Condinsation is another common type of transformation out of the eight; if youve ever seen a can with a light layer of water on it thats what i'm talking about. The coldness from the drink causes the water molucules around the cup to cool down and slow down and form together, turning it into liquid. Freezing is the last kind of transformation, which takes place when a liquid like water is cooled down so its molucules close in and make a soild form. A funny thing about this is that water whenever it freezes the molucules move farther apart then when it was in liquid state.

          November 4, 2008 - Voters approve Proposition 8 in California, which makes same-sex marriage illegal.
          August 4, 2010 - Proposition 8 is found unconstitutional by a federal judge.
          September 20, 2011 - "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is repealed, ending a ban on gay men and lesbians from serving openly in the military.
