I legitimately don’t understand teachers that straight up fail their students!!! I think it’s ridiculous!! Do they not realize how seriously that can affect a students home life or mental health or BOTH?!? If a student is failing instead of not giving a shit, maybe you can try to help them so THAT THEY DONT FAIL. Often when a student is failing it’s because they have other stuff going on in life that is affecting their school performance. 9/10 times failing the student is going to make things worse, and if you say that students have to “earn a grade”. That’s just stupid, often a grade is a reflection on the teacher not the student smh.
