!!! just posted a new story!!! this is a dnf fanfic written by me and my friend, star, whom i met on YT. we’re probably gonna write a lot more together so look forward to that!! however this story is based on a YT community post from the YT channel Carret (go subscribe to them btw :])!!

so as it turns out one of my irls accidentally leaked the fact that i write mcyt fanfiction to FOUR other irls (im not mad at them, dw)

          i never understood why ppl were like “haha to my irls if you know me, no you don’t,” BUT NOW IF YOURE AN IRL AND YOU KNOW ME, NO YOU FUCKING DONT

          today, after school, i got a text message from an unknown number whose area code was in new york. 
          
          at first i thought this was a troll, like they randomly typed some number in and it happened to be mine until they claimed to be a fan of my fanfics, something that no one who just wanted to randomly troll a random person would know.
          
          i don’t know how they got my number (they claimed it was one of my classmates, but refused to specify who, and they also claimed to go to my school, but i don’t live in new york.). they know how i look (somehow), and described some of the features i have. they called me their “china doll.”
          
          i don’t mind interacting with people who like the things i create. i post it for you guys. but i won’t condone random people messaging MY number. that is my personal life, and you have violated my privacy. i don’t care what you say, nothing excuses this for me.
          
          i don’t know if they found me from wattpad or ao3, but i’m putting this announcement out there on both platforms.
          
          maybe i’m looking into this too far and it was just a troll gone wrong, but i’d like you to know that it’s a really messed up troll. 

woah. so.. it’s like 1 AM here and i’ve just realized i’ve hit 50 followers (52 as of right now— i’m not forgetting about the extra two!), and... wow. okay.
          
          first off... thank you guys SO much... it’s really nice to know that some people out there are.. well, to be fair, i don’t really get following and stuff but i’m gonna pretend i do lmao. 
          
          i mean, i guess it’s nice to know that there are some people out there who *dont* find me annoying, so— i think all of you are really cool.
          
          50 followers isn’t a lot. but.. it means something to me, as stupid as that sounds. i just— i’m not the best with words, but it feels special, that out of the millions of people in the world, 50 of you found me and decided i was pretty pog. that’s really... fascinating.

I have a question. So, I'm writing an Asylum MYCT Fanfic too, but - a few days after I began to write mine, that's when I found You and Dakota's Asylum Book.
          
          I just wanted to ask if I'm still aloud to continue mine since it isn't really similar since it takes place in a different setting, different topic, etc.
