This is a joke my friend told me about. She is Vietnamese and the first national day she came to Singapore they had a singing session in school where they sing all the national day songs. She found it weird and asked her classmates whether they always do the sing along thing and why they always do it, her classmate replied, "yeah, we always do this, because we are SINGapore."
