It's pretty simple, first you look through the sign-up book and find one that you like. Links are in the comments if you want to read them yourself. When you do find something you like, you pick a character you'd want to voice act for and contact me saying which character you'd like to be.
Before you do though, make sure to ask yourself "can I sound like that character"? I'm not picky when it comes to voice actors, but try to get in the general ballpark of what they might sound like. Example: is the character british? then please use a british accent. You get the idea.
After you've messaged me, I'll ask you to send a short clip of your voice to my email, just to make sure that yes, you do sound like them. Once I get that I'll add your name to the cast list, and boom! You're signed up!
From there it's just waiting around for the rest of the cast to fill up. When every character has a part, I'll message you so that you can begin recording your lines for the audio book. (I don't want it before then, because I tend to loose things easily and then you'd have to re-record it all and that's too much work.) You can drop out of the cast whenever you want, so long as you give me a long enough heads up. I get that life can get in the way sometimes, but please no last-minute drop outs.
If you want, I also have a tumblr blog for all the audio books. Here's a link in case you want to poke around there >> https://voice-actor-wannabes.tumblr.com/
Thanks for asking! Feel free to sign up if you want, or tell people about me if you think they'd like to sign up. If you have any more questions, I'll try to help you in any way I can. Have a lovely day <3
