( kay so i wanted to give you a load of headcanons - )
one ) if grace sees anyone trying to be mean to jake , she will square tf up with them . she may be a smol bean but she will CLAW their eyes out because she cares .
two ) she's constantly stealing things and giving them to him bc she loves seeing him smile . it's contagious and makes her happy .
three ) she won't tell jake that she's homeless , which is how she's always free to hang out with him .
four ) she also would never admit it , but she would love him to hug her -
