hey guys! 
          
          it’s been a while but i was recently inspired by a couple tiktoks that evoked a lot of feelings in me. i wrote a poem called “the hand” which is about a variety of things. to me it’s about how the patriarchy feels figuratively and how i wish women were able to be heard and not treated like a toddler with a tantrum. it is also about how despite hating the patriarchy, it is biological that we yearn for a man’s touch and a man’s love, yet they are the very thing that is keeping us women trapped. i needed to get these emotions out and i hope you guys enjoy it! it’s in my collection, “just a bunch of words” which im working on fixing up some other works for it!
