should my next chapter contain more fight scenes or focus on N figuring things out?

After much work the chapter is complete.
Every time I go to add a new chapter first I edit all previous chapters,in this case I went through 6 chapters(which was mostly grammar and spelling and maybe changing a few minor details that didn't make sense, on top of that I completely re-read the chapter and cross reference with the nearly 3000 words of notes I have) Anyway as the chapters go on they get longer, for example the Prologue is about 1,000 words at max, 'Day two' is about 3,000 words, 'Kill order' sits at a calm 7,000 and the newest chapter shatters the record at 11,000.
To add to this the older chapters have been edited more since I started doing this after 'Investigation' so it takes me about 10 minutes to check over the prologue while 'Kill order' and 'New information' both took me about 4 days to fully edit.
You can see how this might be a problem.

Are you sure you want to know? My explanation is about a paragraph long since I have no earthly way to stop the flow of thoughts that are rushing through my brain at any given time.

@andlesspos Thanks do the music but something in me deeply dislikes any and all ultrakill soundtracks, I have no idea why. But the song did give me a new idea for a story path so I'll be taking that

ok so the new chapter is pretty much finished but I'm thinking it will be out on Monday-Tuesday? I've been editing the other chapters for about 5 hours and I'm only on chapter 3, I still have to edit the kill order chapter because I didn't like it very much. The main reason its going to take so long is because up to this point the chapters have been about 5,000-7,000 ish words but the new chapter is over 9000 words at the moment and I still have to finish a fight scene I forgot about.
In terms of Tuesday we have no Tuesday, I'm going to stop talking now

Ok I have two options, I can either continue writing the new chapter or I can go back over the rest of my story and polish it up right now instead of waiting until said chapter is complete.
I only have time to do one tonight since I have to study college level bio.

Dang I'm already at 4000 words and I'm nowhere near done with the next chapter, this might be a long one.
I can proudly say I made great progress on a fight scene that had me stuck
