" no , kara . that's not how it works , " jessica responded with an exasperated tone , lowering and shaking her head , " why are you here ? specific reason . " the guardians were not necessarily inclined towards making exceptions when it came to intruders . if jessica could get kara to explain herself though , maybe they'd be fine . she glanced around her quickly , hoping to catch a glimpse of her partner flying by , if he wasn't on earth .
