Just a quick note to say I'm about to go on vacation so there will be no updates/new fic from me for about a week. I plan to start on a new OFMD fic when I return.

We're heading towards the end of Accidental Seduction! It's around 41k now and I'm hoping to end up in the neighbourhood of 50ishk when it's done.

          On the docket after I finish Seduction:
          Shortish Anton/Viago fic that's been in my brain.
          Vignettes for OFMD?? Shortish.
          Sequel to A Pirate's Life with Izzy as our main villain. 
          And an original story that will have a lot of the themes of OFMD (middle aged queer men finding love on a boat) that I will probably alternate updating with fic. 
          
          I have been regularly writing an average of 1k a day since the end of March, and I want to keep that muscle flexin'.
          
          OH! And since I am apparently bringing you general OFMD news: Taika said in an interview yesterday that S2 begins shooting in OCTOBER in New Zealand. Which means we could be watching new pirates by this time next year.

Season two helllllll yeeeeeeeeah!

Hellooo! So I think Accidental Seduction will be winding down pretty soon! I don't like my fics to continue indefinitely, and I think it's nearly time. But I don't see myself stopping writing about the pirates anytime soon!
          Is there anything people would like to see? No promises because I can only write what I feel inspired to do. Also anything overly kinky is not really my jam either. My preference is also to write canon-compliant stuff. 
          
          Also there may be an update tonight, but if not, definitely tomorrow!

Just an FYI to people, because I know some of you have gotten used to me dropping an update every day . There won't be an update today. Hoping to have one up tomorrow evening, but it may not happen. BUT the next update will probably be a bit longer than usual, and I think you'll quite like it.

I've had a story rolling around in my head for awhile now. It would take some OFMD themes (a ship full of queer folks and middle aged men finding love) but would otherwise be quite different. Speculative fiction, post climate collapse. Not too serious. Action/adventure. 
          
          But I'm not sure if that's something people on Wattpad would be into, especially with older protags?

Kinda wanna write an Anton/Viago post-What We Do in the Shadows fic.

Just wanted to say a thank you to everyone who has been reading and commenting on my OFMD fic! You all keep me inspired and keep me updating regularly. I appreciate you and I appreciate this fandom of silly pirates.

hey i just felt a need to say this, youre an amazing author. it is so nice to find ofmd fics that are so well written. its almost like rhys darby and taika watiti are reading it aloud. keep up the awesome work!!
