          As a detective, Gerard is required to be suspicious, so much so that he is limited in human connections and empathetic abilities. The more uncanny events get, the more he realises how redundant trust is and why he swore off love so early on. People are not what they say they are and the supposed culprit’s thirst for blood isn’t quite satiated yet.

Hiii everyone :)) just a quick progress update for my next story. 
          
          It has taken me way longer than I anticipated, but it's finally finished!! I just need to proofread it and write the author's note. Due to popular request, this story is a little longer than my others, but my style conventions relating to plot and characters are still there! 
          
          It should be out on Christmas, so that'll be my gift to you all :) so if you're bored at your Christmas gatherings, you've got something to read ;)
          
          I've poured my heart and soul into this and am so excited to show you all what I've been working on, especially since my last publication was in July 2023 lol. Is this my comeback era? I hope sooo. 
          
          Now, a few hints about what this story is about... 
          
          A murder case. NYC in the 80s. Detective Gerard Way. Criminal psychologist Frank Iero. And a whole lot of mind games.
