@pixelmum that's perfectly fair and understandable. It's so common with wattpad contests that I've kind of accepted it as a sad fact on here, I appreciate you telling them so

@dragonthusiast thanks but I won't join in because they ask contestants to list if their book is LGBTQ like it's a trigger warning for judges and other readers. Queer characters can appear in all books for all reader demographics so it shouldn't be treated like a warning like "mature". I've commented asking them to remove that discriminatory part of the entry form

Having finally finished Erina's Guide to Grinding Gears, reread and edited Break the Day and Raze the night and written a bonus chapter for Raze the Night to enter into the Shortys, I can finally get around to continuing the third and last book in the Nightstar series, Bring the Dawn. I think I'm ready to tackle the horrors I set up
