Completely forgot to say that The Shadows that Hide Us ended up as an Honorable Mention in the ONC finals. That's way further than I've made it before, so I'm very happy about it, especially given that there was so many more entries this year than the years before.

Thanks for the follow! I love your covers.

@shadowstander meh, I've done that too for poses of characters, I think it's fine. I consider that a shortcut that's teaching me less than it would if I did the hard thing and failed over and over.

@dragonthusiast Thank you! He's called Truffel.

I cheated a bit with the cover admittingly. I traced some copyright free images to get the hands and flowers right, because I wasn't going to bother attempting to free hand them XD

It's a lot later than I expected, but I've finished my rewrite of The Thief's Dragon. I'll be posting it as a new book, since the text and vibe are different, even though the plot is the same, and preserve the original. Now all that's left is proofreading and those type of edits.

I spent a week editing Kinbound so I can enter it into the Wattys. Now I can finally return to writing Crash and Burn and finishing the Thief's Dragon rewrite. I'm missing like two chapters and I haven't been able to push myself to finish it

I was finally going to add a sequel or two to Wings of Gold, but since I wrote the first two books years ago, I needed to reread them to remind myself of facts of the story.
Having done that, I realized I'm unhappy with the quality of prose and general vibe of the story, so I'm currently rewriting the first two (I'm about halfway done with the first).

The story will stay the same, as will the characters, but I'm adding a lot of improvement to the prose, dialogue, and personality, as the characters seemed a bit flat to me now. Idri especially just reads kind of like Castiel from Supernatural.

Once these rewrites are done, I'll upload the updated versions of both and continue on with the third book. See you then.

I've now finished writing all the epilogues for Bring the Dawn, making the Nightstar trilogy officially entirely complete. I gave myself a deadline for this year, and I made it, even though narrowly. I'm so happy it finally has all the content I wanted to add, even if not edited yet, so I can mark it as finished at last.

I'll probably eventually end up writing another series in the same world, but that's for the far future. I'll take a bit of a break and then decide what to work on next, just to avoid burning out because this series threatened to do it many times, even if I'm really happy I did write it overall.
