Hi there! I'm fifteen, a freshman in high school. I enjoy writing about real life experiences. Some of them are my own. I have a unique writing style, it tends to come off as very "conversational" as I've been told by others. My work is usually an easy read, though I also enjoy putting to use my very extensive vocabulary. I have never published anything, but I aspire to in the future. My stories cut deep into the life of your typical troubled teenager. I'm working on a piece now about a girl my own age that gets mixed up with an older guy. I believe that the best writers of realistic teen fiction are teens. That is partially why I decided to start writing, I want to capture all the essences of being a teenager. I want to touch on every emotion, every experience. The thing about being young is that we are experiencing everything for the first time. That is what makes it so exciting. A kiss can leave you breathless, a look can make your heart stop. Nobody forgets their first love or their first heartbreak because nothing ever feels that way again. They say that beauty is wasted on the youth because we don't know just how good we have it until it's gone. Too many people waste their days away on facebook, twitter, and other useless things. By the time you're grown, you're not going to care what you posted on facebook, you won't even remember it. What you remember are the things you experienced in person. I believe in living life to the fullest extent. I don't have many boundaries and I'll try anything once. I believe in taking chances and evaluating the consequences later. Opportunity doesn't always knock twice. My favorite quote is by Ralph Waldo Emerson, he said: "For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else.” It is about your outlook on life, you can either regret or rejoice. I choose to rejoice. I have a strong personality and outlook on life that shows through my work, I hope you enjoy it. (:
