Hello everyone,

Due to personal reasons, the Club has been on hiatus for a few months. However, it’s time to start with our regularly scheduled updates~

I’m kind of surprised that this book only has a few reads since a lot of people who follow me are involved in Kpop fandoms it would mean a lot to me if you guys could give this book a chance and read a little bit. I’m hoping to hear what you guys think soon!

Hello everyone :) Happy Thursday (in Korea) !

This means it's time for a new chapter of The Club. I'm including a suspicious excerpt of the last chapter...

"Aha!" exclaimed Deulgi, suddenly pulling his phone out of his pocket. "I have to make a phone call."

"What's with him," Won Do said to Daisy, both of them losing it.

They heard the phone ring on the other end. "Hey, it's me," Deulgi said. He put the phone on speaker. "You've been to the volleyball games, right? I have a question." A girl's voice answered. "You're so annoying, calling me right now to ask about volleyball—"

Deulgi ignored this comment and asked, "You know the captain guy?"

"The captain of the team?" the girl answered. " #9? The hot one?"

Hyeonmi started choking on his noodles; Jjim thumped him on the back emphatically.

Deulgi grinned at Hyeonmi from across the table. "Yes," he said, somewhat haughtily, "The hot one."

"Uh huh, why?" she asked, starting to get exasperated again. "Why do you ask?"

Hi hi :) It's MONDAY in Seoul so... time for another update of The Club!

I'll start this week off with a brief character introduction for everyone since I did excerpts for everyone before:

SKIP: Founded the club. Got his name by skipping class to go do (???). Extremely smart but will only firmly admit to "liking thinking". Tall, wears a lot of oversized cardigans.
SUNNY: Second member of the club. Everyone thinks he's a goth but he just wears black every day because "it's easier". Always knows really random facts. Tsundere.
DAISY: Third member of the club. The total opposite of Sunny but his closest friend. Fashion and facial expression expert and collects sneakers.
JJIM: Named after the word "steamed" in Korean. Happened to join the club while eating a whole mukbang of steamed foods. Constantly makes terrible jokes and tries excessively hard to avoid people's unrelenting romantic interest in him due to his handsomeness.
HYEONMI: Fifth member of the club. Literally "brown rice" in Korean. Got his name for being a health nut and always eating brown rice and chicken in class. the captain of the volleyball team. Known for having cute eyes.
PIDEULGI: The sixth member of the club. Literally "pigeon" in Korean. Named by Hyeonmi who used to see him when he went on runs around campus since he always had binoculars. Turns out? He doesn't look at pigeons. Most creative thinker of the group. Possibly a reincarnated 1920's-era romantic.
WON DO: Seventh member of the club. Short for "Wonderland" since he joined the club seemingly on accident, much like Alice discovered Wonderland. Always has silver hair, an excellent math tutor, and loves buying people gifts.

Hi people :)

Its THURSDAY in Seoul today so that means The Club gets an update!

Today's excerpt... why are these two like this...

                                                                                          *******

Finally Hyeonmi got a good look at Deulgi and seemed immediately embarrassed about something. “Why do you always have to look so good,” he grumbled.

“I never wear my ties,” said Deulgi mournfully, “I have so many, too..” He trailed off (he had presumably been trying to see Skip coming through his binoculars), but then looked at Hyeonmi, eyes glinting above a wry smile. He cocked his head. “Why don’t you wear colors?” he asked finally. “That’s still a set that requires no coordination, if that’s your complaint.. brings out your eyes.”

Jjim choked on the coffee he was trying to drink at this comment and started losing it. Won Do was already cracking up at the exchange.

“I don’t have purple eyes,” said Hyeonmi, rolling his eyes from under the lavender bucket hat and crossing his arms, refusing to look at his friend.

“That doesn’t mean—" said Deulgi firmly “—that it can’t bring them out.” He walked over and poked Hyeonmi in the cheek with one finger.

Hi lovely people^

It's impossible to interact with people regularly on here but I'm sure some of you DO read these so I'm going to keep posting them every time I update :D

Today's update of The Club is up! What are they planning now..?

Sunny obviously saw this from a kilometer away and had already opened his mouth to complain. “I know, here we go, I can’t wear black or white because they’re shades and not colors—”

“Oh mannnn,” groaned Jjim, “—what will you do??”

“I can’t picture him in any color of the rainbow,” muttered Won Do to Hyeonmi, who sniggered trying to imagine it.

“Well let’s say you had to,” said Skip, “It’s just one day—“

“Come naked,” suggested Jjim, immediately bursting into laughter at his ridiculous suggestion.

“That isn’t in the rainbow either,” said Won Do immediately.

“So which one do you want,” asked Won Do to Sunny, extremely invested in this.

“I don’t care,” he said blithely, “Whichever one is left, I guess, technically it’s still 1/7th of white, so..”

Hyeonmi choked on a laugh. “1/7th—“

“I’ll be yellow,” said Daisy, “I like sunflowers, so—“

          “I’ll be indigo,” said Skip.

“Blue!” said Won Do, “Blue is in cotton candy,” he added.

“I call red,” said Jjim. “Like hearts.” He promptly made two little hearts with his fingers. Won Do pretended to faint.

Everyone turned to look at Sunny. “O..range?” said Won Do slowly.

Hi everyone!

          Happy New Year!

Today it's a double update :D I hope that you guys check out The Club this year; if you enjoy hilarious banter then I definitely recommend it!

Today I'll post a snippet of chapter 23 for you guys~

“It’s pumpkin and chicken breast,” said Skip, about his sandwich. He still had one EarPod in and his beanie was askew.

Sunny, evidently noticing this, raised an eyebrow and asked, “Did we catch you as you were ditching school?”

“I,” said Skip, indignantly swallowing a bite of his sandwich but appearing to have managed to tear off only bread, “saw the chat, unlike some people.” He glanced sideways at Hyeonmi, who, to nobody’s surprise, was studiously stirring a packet of chicken breast and brown rice with a tiny spoon.

“Why,” protested Hyeonmi, glancing up and realizing Skip was talking about him. “One of you guys would have found me anyways—"

“Which I did,” said Deulgi smugly, as if he had rescued a cat that was stuck in a tree.

“Ah, seriously,” said Won Do indignantly, “like it’s that hard to look at your phone—"

“I did look at my phone,” said Hyeonmi with surprise, “Deulgi texted me to look at the group chat—"

“What?” said Sunny, not believing his ears. “You’ve got some bias—"

Won Do, who suddenly exploded into silent laughter, found the revelation that Hyeonmi apparently only got notifications from direct texts sent by Pideulgi extremely funny.

“If Jjim would stop getting into emoticon wars with Daisy during class or keep sending everyone mobile invitations to play MapleStory then I wouldn’t have to turn the notifications off,” said Hyeonmi, through a mouthful of chicken.

Hi all~

A bit later than planned but as promised, a new chapter of The Club! Things are getting more chaotic...

Case in point: whatever is going on here--

“What is on your arm??” asked Won Do suddenly, who had been talking to Hyeonmi. “Did you get counterattacked by a volleyball??”

Deulgi looked back and said “Oh, sorry.”

At this, everyone turned to look at Hyeonmi, whose forearm had a purplish bruise.

“What is this,” said Sunny, losing it. “Did you guys have a fight?”

“No,” said Deulgi innocently, rolling down his left sweater sleeve suddenly.

“Hey—“ said Sunny. “Not you too—“

“Did you guys literally almost miss Skip’s presentation because you were punching each other out or what??” asked Jjim disbelievingly.

“Not.. technically,” said Hyeonmi, with a small laugh. He added, “Also, we were on time.”

“It’s just because—“ started Deulgi, “It’s because it turns out that we—'' He dissolved into laughter.
