Ok, so I know Esmeralda Rewritten’s final chapter has taken FOREVER and I apologize for that. With school starting back I’ve had massive writers block and it’s led me not to be able to come up with ideas, with one exception.
My plan now after finishing Esmeralda Rewritten is to hold off Like the Wind Rewritten until further notice in order for me to focus on an entirely new story. An idea has been stuck in my head for MONTHS that I haven’t been able to get out, but the only problem is I have no idea what it could even be about. I’ve also kind of forgotten that the drafts I have aren’t real covers people see in my library so im just now realizing how empty it truly is. Here’s my pitch:
A struggling inventor, Claire Bogart, has been in the engineering industry trying to come up with the next big thing for the past decade (note that this story does not take place during a specific time period but more or less a more vintage future [???] so to speak). When a new, much younger inventor, Diana Flynn bursts onto the scene. She’s a hit with the papers and the public. Claire doesn’t feel an amount of jealousy, but someone else in her mind (yes, she is severely mentally ill) feels differently about this woman and has other, more deadly plans.
This story will be a novella like most of my others, if not a short story. I still don’t exactly know what I want to do with it, plot wise (I of course have big ideas for this story but I can’t spoil them here lol).
Anyway, until further notice, my next story after Esmeralda Rewritten will make a soft launch sometime after. I hope that someday you all can enjoy BALENCIAGA.
