guys I finally got released from the hospital yesterday (thanks for all the well wishes!) and promptly:
1. took a 14 hour nap
2. woke up and wrote 3,316 words

since chapter 24 is taking so long to get to y’all, I thought I’d share which of the pictures that I posted a couple weeks ago saying one of them had a hint about the beginning of act two was the one I was talking about! no one guessed it hehe!
in the picture, yara was wearing a pretty, long, black satin dress and was standing in front of a plain, cream wall. she was smiling, her head was tilted to the side, hands behind her back, and she was wearing a shiny, red, holiday-themed headband that said happy new year!

curiosity question:
do you guys prefer longer chapters when the content of that specific chapter truly works best when all together, or do you prefer having two shorter/regular-length chapters, even if it means disrupting the tension/pacing to split it all up?

@dreaminggg ohhh okay!! kalopsia is like one of my favourite books on wattpad so i was curious! this book is how i found you, if im being honest, haha. i really do hope it becomes available somewhere super soon! i’m able to watch it on prime where i live, but i also use like website to watch different shows (like soap2day) in the meantime i have to catch up with your steve book!!!!! :))

@swtnrdiaries hi my love!! thank you so much for still caring after all this time. that is truly so sweet! I have not discontinued it or anything & still am very invested in finishing it, but I have had to take a pause since they took the 100 off of netflix. I don’t currently have a streaming platform with it available & I use the show for the script/to write so I haven’t been able work on kalop for while : (. but rest assured I have not given up on it & hopefully the show will be available for free somewhere soon!

things I wrote at 3 am & came back and read the next morning:
He was stone-faced by the time the reach his car, huffing in irritation as they plop into their seats, shutting the doors as he turns the ignition in the wheel. She pulls her hands from her pockets, yanking off the wool mittens she'd been wearing for extra protection as Steve twisted the key in the ignition. He turned the key in the ignition and the vehicle rumbled to life beneath then, his hands in the wheel.
the constant dipping in & out of present & last tense and the “turns the ignition in the wheel” I’m dead
