          Stage one of querying has gone well. I'm managed to get an agent to request a partial! I'm so happy, you would think it's getting published. 
          
          It's still early days, but I won't be posting the latest version of ASHES TO EMBERS. I may delete the old stuff from the site too.

Just finished another whole book swap for Ashes to Embers! I'll be posting up the newest version soon, which I'm hoping is the final draft before I send off to see if it's worth publishing. Yay!
          
          Before the big send off, I'm looking for one last book swap. I'll read and review your *whole novel* if you read and review mine. My reviews are very detailed, check past reviews to get a taste, but I don't expect the same amount back (I do it because I enjoy it, so I don't mind spending a few hours per chapter).
          
          PM me for more details. I can't promise vote or fans, it's not about that, but I can guarantee your writing/novel will hugely improve. Or at least, that's my experience of these swaps in the past.

          I shouldn't really be working on mine at the moment but I can't resist. I guess it keeps me motivated though.

I've actually started on your chapter 10, but go ahead and send the new version to me when you have it. I have to finish my friend's project by tomorrow night (and I think I'm going to have trouble with the deadline, though I'll get as much of it done as I can). I feel bad that it's taken so long for me to get to yours. I start it, the kids distract me, get my friend's project and it's wash, rinse, repeat....Fortunately, she's aiming to send hers back to the agent by Tuesday so it should be much easier for me after that.

I don't think you're going to find what you're looking for in the Club where you're posting. It's become the new SYS and I think at most you'll get a comment. I think you should look around in Industry Insider. Tell them that you are in the process of shopping it around to agents, which you are. I think you'll have much better luck there, and some of them can pick it apart quite well.

Right, finished Uni for the semester now. Will have a good solid read of the Ashes to Embers redraft in the next few days or so. :)

Are you on Twitter? If you aren't, you should be. They had Pitch Madness on March 31 and I think they probably do that every three months or so. It's a great way to obtain a great agent.
