Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller is a board-certified emergency physician who began his journey on a fourth-generation dairy farm in Idaho. Growing up, he learned responsibility through daily farm work, later building on those skills with experience in wildfire suppression and construction. He went on to earn degrees in International Studies and Spanish before returning to Boise to complete the prerequisites for medical school, with a focus on laboratory sciences. During that time, he worked as a lab instructor and manager and spent several years involved in biomedical research, deepening his understanding of systems biology and human health.

Before beginning his medical training, he worked in several fields, including serving as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service and working in construction, where he gained practical knowledge in carpentry, electrical systems, and residential buildings. He also worked in restaurants, where he developed the ability to handle customer needs, manage multiple demands, and stay calm under pressure. These early jobs gave him valuable skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.

In 2012, he entered medical school in Reno, completing clinical rotations in general medicine, pediatrics, surgery, psychiatry, and internal medicine. He graduated in 2016 and was matched to an emergency medicine residency at a busy hospital in Fresno. During his residency, he trained in airway management, resuscitation, line placement, and bedside ultrasound, caring for patients with trauma, cardiac events, respiratory failure, stroke, and psychiatric emergencies. He often worked with people who had limited access to regular healthcare, learning the importance of making rapid decisions and communicating precisely.

After completing his residency, Dr. Seth Eidemiller worked at a medical center in Merced before joining the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group in 2020.
