Dr. Sudesh Banaji's formative years in science and mathematics at Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala in Mysore, India, paved the way for his medical career. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from JJM Medical College, University of Mysore, and gained practical experience through a diverse internship at Chigateri General Hospital in Davangere. Following his passion for anesthesiology, he completed his residency at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, where he also conducted influential research on pediatric neuromuscular blocking agents.

Seeking to broaden his medical expertise, Dr. Banaji moved to the United States, where he continued his training in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center before transitioning to internal medicine at East Tennessee State University. In 2000, he established his practice in Forrest City, Arkansas. By 2005, he founded Internal Medicine of Forrest City, where he pioneered advanced care models such as the Patient-Centered Medical Home and Comprehensive Primary Care Plus, which markedly improved care for chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes.

Dr. Banaji's dedication extends beyond his clinic. He is actively involved in community service, supporting organizations like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Autism Society of America. With his wife, a medical professional, he is committed to providing exceptional care and contributing positively to the Forrest City, Arkansas community.
