@drunkonliterature Honestly I’ve gotta say it’s not. If anything it almost cheapens the connection if you do it early on. Like if you look at the girl with the pearl earring and watch that movie they literally don’t even kiss, and they have such an amazing connection and you can feel the tension. It literally just comes down to how the author can write and if it’s well written and portrayed well, then there’s absolutely no need for any of that
