Well, I'm glad I didn't make it into the Watty Awards this year because there was *so much* wrong with my book, I'm embarrassed that someone other than me and my new proofreader went and read it.
Still, my book is now complete, it's available on two platforms (linked in my bio) and it's one of my biggest accomplishments. Work on the second book in the trilogy is coming underway soon, but for now, I'm taking a damn break.

It's canon in the universe my book takes place in that Old English was derived from Lunestic travelers coming to Gaia for hundreds of years and fucking up the Celtic language they heard bits and pieces of, and they just threw in their native words in Celtic sentences. Best part about it is that they didn't realize they were fucking it up. This is also why it is easy for English speakers to learn Lunestic, and vice versa. lmao.

Not me working on the second book in my series before publishing the rest of the first one--
I know how the first one is going to end because we are nearing that point, but I'm not sure how to write it down. So, I'm working on the second book because it's a continuation of the first book.
just got my new laptop so i should be able to start writing even more chapters for the book! :D
