I am a student at the University of Arizona studying systems engineering. I competed in the Tucson Youth Poetry Slam for my younger years as a writer, the national ABQ Poetry Competition, and the 2017-2018 Arizona Scholastic Art and Writing Program where I received four silver keys for four different submissions. Additionally, I spoke on a panel about re-conceptualizing nonfiction through field studies at the Nonfiction Now 2018 Conference. My experience in the writing industry itself is minimal, but I have a strong passion for doing something with my passion in writing by becoming a published author for a chapbook I have been working on for years. I am on wattpad in hopes of making connections that might help my aspirations become a reality. I would not only like to be published, but make ripples with my work and go far with it.
