@dust0likes0flowers0 it’s partially canon I’m pretty sure? Like it was definitely somewhat queerbaiting, but it is canon that Oswald loves him. Imo his feelings are obviously reciprocated (I mean who can ignore the Amy Winehouse scene) but the show never outright says so. So it’s canonically one sided but hints at something more (Sorry for the rant, I love talking about them)
