I am a new writer who has always enjoyed fantasy and science fiction. In addition to writing, I am also a painter and artist. I enjoy painting southwest scenery and have spent much time four-wheeling in the desert areas around Las Cruces. Other interests include rock-hunting (as a child, I filled the bottom drawer of my dresser with so many rocks the bottom fell out when my mom opened the drawer) and the history of this area starting with the Indians that used to live here long before the Europeans showed up to the more recent homesteading and mining endeavors. I have spent many trips visiting the ghost towns and historical sites of this enchanting state of New Mexico.

One of my favorite writers has always been Anne McCaffrey and her dragonrider series. The recent wildly popular Game of Thrones by New Mexico author, George R. R. Martin, has also piqued my interest in tales about dragons. Of course, I have my own story to tell about dragons as I envision them.
