            She looks up now, eyes glassy, defiant only because despair has nowhere else to go.
            
            “I am tired of lessons. Tired of becoming stronger through loss. Tired of being told that loving myself will one day be enough to replace the warmth of another soul choosing me and staying. If this is the cure, then why does it feel like another kind of wound?”
            
            Her voice drops to a whisper, reverent and ruined all at once.
            
            “I did not come to you because you were the best. I came because I am out of gods, out of prayers, out of hope. If there is anything left..anything at all..tell me how to keep my heart alive when it no longer believes it was made to be held.”

            ⠀⠀⠀"well," she is carefully choosing her words as she has doubts that her own advice would in any way be effective.⠀"there is a cure for heartbreak, as there is a cure for most things in relation to one's emotions and deepest of desires.⠀the best cure for heartbreak is to believe that thou can supply what thou wants from a man.⠀one must learn to love one's self before even daring to think about being loved."⠀
