°^| Oh hey! Long time no talk!
I have heard of Paladins, but I haven't really watched any gameplay or know any lore of it, really. So, I don't think I know anyone who writes about it.
I'm was actually quite the opposite. I write a lot of dialogue. I'm very heavy on characters and development, so I think I'm just used to writing dialogue.
When I write dialogue, I usually write it separately on notes or another document. I just think of a situation and think of what one character would react or think regarding the situation.
For example, there's a party, and one particular group is all tired out. A character can talk about a girl she met on thr dance floor, and another character would tease her about it.
Just remember to give characters lines that match their mood, personality, and mannerisms.
You can also use dialogue to tell readers about something that happened "off screen." Like in battle, you focus on one character specifically, and later on, another character can talk about how they fared in the battlefield.
When I write dialogues, I do some things to get me started. I can derive inspiration from a real conversation I had or with a conversation in a show or movie. Then I just type one line, and imagine how others would react.
That's all I could think of right now. Hope it was helpful.
