Hi! You mentioned that you were interested in beta reading some of my future works, so here is a little more information about the task.

Soon I am going to begin editing the first book in a series that I've been working on. I know that the editing is going to take a lot of work, so I can't say for sure when I'm going to need your help. I'll send you a message when it's close to being ready for reading. My guess is that it will be two or three months from now, but that could change depending on how much damage control I need. If at that time you are too busy to help, because I know that life can suddenly get very busy, I will completely understand.

As my beta reader, you will be the first set of eyes on my latest manuscript. As an author, it's hard to notice some mistakes that may be clear for someone who has never read the story before. I will give you a set of guidelines of what I'm looking for help with. Of course, you can add things that you find along the way if you like. There isn't going to be a strict set of rules or anything. Basically whatever you can do to help, I will willingly accept. I'm not looking for professional, just someone who loves reading.

Like I said, it won't be a while until I need you, but I wanted to give you a little background, so that you could figure out if you were interested. If you have any questions, please ask!

Thank you so much for doing this! I really, really appreciate it!

(P.S. I'm sorry that this took so long to get to you. My messaging has been glitching so I'm going to post it here.)
