the artist and the dancer, one of the best fucking books of the year; im crying at the fact that the book hit me in emotional areas i never knew existed - matthew is still my favourite character and i will never stop marvelling over the beauty of this novel. i cried more than six times, laughed even more than that & i felt obliged to post about it as its rare for a book to emotionally effect me, like this one has. to sydney, and to lucas;
