working on exposure therapy for my ocd now but if my therapist suggests it for the insect aspect im out. i’d rather live in this irrational and debilitating fear for the rest of my life than deliberately spend time with bugs. let alone TOUCH THEM. i think i’d explode and die.

for Years thought everyone reacted that way then my therapist was like yeah that’s a big part of ur ocd! like wow lila who would have thunk that me OBSESSIVELY thinking about bugs and feeling COMPELLED to check for them everywhere i go before i sit down anywhere or touch anything (and continuing to check for them every few minutes or every time the slightest feeling hits my arm) was a part of my OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE disorder. #wild
