THE SMELL OF COTTON CANDY fills the small hotel room, overtaking every space and room rather quickly. A large puddle with red and white swirls began to form on the floor from seemingly nowhere, growing into a medium-sized puddle before finally halting.
There was a mechanical whirring, and slowly HE emerged from the puddle as if it were a hole rather than liquid.
First rose a sleek tophat atop a ginger head, then came the grinning pale face with green eyes. He had broad shoulders, an athletic, muscular build, a red-and-black suit jacket with a faded white button-up shirt underneath, black slacks, and black dress shoes that curled upward cartoonishly at the front.
With a large, exaggerated step forward, he stepped fully out of the puddle, which, upon leaving, caused it to evaporate into nothing as if he had never even stood there.
"Hello, hello," he greets enthusiastically, his grin far too wide for human standards and showing far too many teeth that shouldn't be as white as they were. "Apologies, ma'am, but I sensed a grump at this location! I couldn't have that, so I have come to put on a cheery show to fix that frowny disposition!" His entire demeanor was like a cartoon caricature of a clown or entertainer, his voice even having that uppity, giddy quality that would be normal in a cartoon.
