            you have got to stop sneaking up on me.   [  she tells him, her position remaining stuck like glue. it reminded her of their first encounter— oh how things change so unexpectedly.  ]

            ugh, fine!   [  she playfully remarks before pulling away  ]   where have you been? 

[ he notices her tense at the feeling of the necklace and there’s a moment where he sinks, wondering if there was something that he triggered inside of her. he pauses, thinking about asking her later and his small smile comes back, feeling a bit awkward. ] do you like it? i remember you looking at it when we were at the store and we had that whole conversation about traveling and i just— i wanted to do something special for you.

            [  christmas was something she didn’t celebrate, which explained her awkward behavior. for the past years without her mother or father figure, she found the holiday season to be most depressing  ..  but she couldn’t tell him that. she didn’t want to be the person who brought the mood down. the cold sensation of the necklace caused her neck to tense up. her eyes opened and a smile formed at the sight of the necklace.  ]   oh, jack .. you really went all out, huh?  

i’ll tell you when. [ he takes everything out of his bag, the diamond necklace with her name, the matching earrings and two plane tickets to italy. he smiles, walking behind her to put the necklace on her neck while her eyes were still close and clasping it shut. ] okay, okay, open!

            [  walking in the booming hallways made the fire in her ignite. it was the same feeling she got whenever she did a hunt. green hues looked up to him, flashing a grin with a nod.  ]   let’s go.  [  after walking down the hallway a bit more, julia made a left handed turn, pushing open the heavy metal doors. the music became significantly louder, taking her by surprise. the vibrating feeling of the bass in her chest reminded her of the last time she saw them live.  ]

you look hot. [ his eyes roll playfully, taking her hand and giving her another kiss quickly before he starts to head toward the ticket stand. he starts to feel a drizzle and shrugs off his jacket with one hand, draping it over her and haphazardly putting his hood over her head even if it was just for a moment. 
            as they make it over, he pulls the tickets out of his pocket, and gets a weird glance from the man at their tardiness. their bags get checked and even through the halls he can hear the music blaring. he leans closer, whispering into her ear with a grin. ] let’s kill some vampires.

            oh,  you’re bad.   [  she sends him a look, a smile forming. her fingers adjust her bangs in the mirror, one last time, before shutting it. she turns her head to him as soon as the door opens. she steps out, adjusting her top  ]   i think so, but i’ll take another one.   [  a kiss is planted onto his cheek before her hand grabs his, giving it a gentle squeeze  ]   we should probably get going, like now.

            go for it.   [  julia encouraged, her voice low and soft. in the blink of an eye, the sensation took over. she could feel the warmth begin in her upper body and slowly make its way everywhere else. more goosebumps went up her back and to raise the hairs on the back of her neck. the feeling felt intoxicating as she allowed her entire self to lean onto him now. julia lost the battle, her eyes shut carelessly as she let herself succumb to his doing. one hand slipped up and behind his neck, gently pulling at the ends of his hair through her fingers  ]   i do —  it’s nice.   [  she speaks breathlessly, lips slightly curving into a small smile  ]   let’s make this quick, jack.

[ time started to slip away, and as it did, he started to peel off her jacket, his hand running down her arm, entangling with her hand. an idea popped into his mind, right now in the worst of times, and a smile tugged at his lips looking up at her and that look on her face that caused his focus to slip. ] there’s something i’ve always wanted to do with you… let’s see if i still can. [ his eyes close, his chin nuzzled into her back as he whispers an easy spell under his breath; a pleasure spell starting on her arms and sending a flurry of sparks to the rest of her body ever so slowly. ] you feel anything?

            [  just as she was told, she watched him: every kiss, every touch, she melted. there was something different about him— a good different. it was the kind of different that she craved but didn’t know it until now.  ]   we should make those two minutes last then.   [  her words came out breathy, her head leaning back onto his chest. while she allowed herself to be completely taken over by him, the overwhelming warmth within her only built up by the seconds. julia caught herself closing her eyes but slowly, they opened, watching him in the mirror with a sultry expression  ]

            hey, don’t judge me.   [  she playfully defends herself with a grin. there’s a moment where the night she saw them comes back to her. she blamed the loud music for being unable to distinguish between the dead and the living.  ]   there’s alot of bands that have ridiculous names. i guess we’ll be able to kill two birds with one stone. 

oh, don’t be too proud, you don’t know how i got ‘em. [ he only half jokes, mumbling that last part under his breath. his head shook in disbelief as he looks at the passes again. his eyes narrow at the branding, the colors, the name. ] i don’t know what’s more shocking, the fact that you’re into them or the fact that none of this gave away that they were vampires. they’re called bloodstained kiss.

            you never cease to amaze me.   [  the brunette grins up at him, her eyes diverting from the tickets to his own gaze.  ]   wait, is that—   [  she does a second take, giving the tickets another look. the band was familiar and it hit her, a lightbulb went off in her head  ]   i saw these guys one time!  it was before they got big— but i remember them.  i can’t believe i didn’t know they were vampires.
