despite the lack of posting, I *am* still writing--but my original story, the hugest and fattest thing I have ever worked on in my life, and it will either be glorious or the largest steaming pile of hot garbage you have ever laid your eyes upon. Either way, that is the reason for the silence. Stay tuned.
Engagement really does depend on the platform you post on. For example, people on AO3 absolutely devoured chasing the sky, wattpad liked it quite a bit, while it's totally cold on fimfiction. Very different numbers, but exactly the same writing. It goes to show that stats don't always reflect how good your story/writing actually is. If I had only posted on fimfic I would have been demoralised af. Getting your story to the right audience is probably a combination of understanding the platform's tastes/algorithm + luck. Don't give up. :>

writing is on hold for my exam season. will be back in mid to end november if all goes well
idk if anyone still reads CTS BUT... I grinded out chapter 7 during the holidays and now into proofread stage! The end is in sight :)
