Hey you can call me Kate, that's the name I give Starbucks baristas and Chinese takeout waiters because I desperately want to avoid a potentially awkward conversation about the actual spelling of my name. I really love to write, and have since first grade when I was roller skating and got an incredibly painful road rash from skidding all the way across a tennis court after a nasty slip. I thought that it looked like little suction cups on my legs, and decided to write about a killer island plant that leaves bites like that. Yeah, I was a weird kid. But at least I don't have an anime fetish (@slythertin).

I do have some longer stories in the works, but most of my stuff is poetry: this is actually my second account because people irl knew of my first, so I deleted that one entirely and moved my works over here. This is a lot of unnecessary info but sums me up pretty well!

Please, I love when people comment on my works, even if it's to just point out a plot hole or a spelling error. Feel free to call me out on anything, I promise I won't be offended :).

Also, I think I'm gonna try using my own photos for some of my stories, so please, if you see one you like, check the description and see if it's mine, and don't use it without my permission.

I think this is the longest bio I've ever written yikes ok now to move on to writing things people actually will want to read. I hope you enjoy! And thanks for even reading this!
