Oh my gosh, I just happened to log in and saw this, and I am crying now (happy tears!). It's so crazy to me to think that people are still thinking about and returning to and loving my stories.
My life looks incredibly different now from how it did even just a few years ago, in many good ways. I'm 26 (almost 27) now, I have a wonderful and supportive irl friend group, I bought my own house this past winter, and I live in it with two cats, finally free of the abusive environment in which I had grown up. On top of that, I get paid to write for a living. So I am doing very well overall!!
The one big downside of writing for work full-time is I don't often have the mental energy to write for fun. But even though I haven't updated in over a year, I've been thinking about my stories a lot the past few weeks and have been really wanting to get back into writing HoDR4. I actually opened the Wattpad app to reread it so I could get my head back to where I was when I was writing it and hopefully work on continuing it in the near future. I will probably never get back to my posting schedule of multiple updates each week from way back in my high school and college days, but I would love to get to the point I'm updating a few times a month again, at least. I promise I haven't abandoned these stories!!
And I would LOVE to read your stories and "meet" your characters. Knowing my silly lil creations have inspired others to create is honestly the biggest honor.
