Disheartened
Lately, I’ve seen some people saying that "The Thakurain | 18+" only focuses on desire — and honestly, it hurts a little to see it being misinterpreted like that.
Before judging, please remember the era this story is set in. The times were different, the people were different, and so were their ways of expressing love. Back then, marriages were built on duty, power, and yes — pleasure. It wasn’t uncommon, it was their reality.

Through this story, I’ve tried my best to show that reality — not glorify it. Because even in a world where desire was the base of a bond, two people can still find something deeper. They can connect through silences, through understanding, through the ache of wanting to be seen for who they truly are.

So please, don’t reduce it to just desire. Look a little closer, and you’ll find that beneath it all, it’s about the longing for companionship, the quiet kind of love that grows even when words are few.

I know not everyone will see it the same way, and that’s okay. ❤️
But as the writer, it does sting when the emotions and depth I poured into this story are dismissed so easily. Still, I trust that those who truly read between the lines will understand what I wanted to convey.

At the end of the day, it’s your choice to continue or not — but I just wanted to share my heart behind the words. All I ask is that you read with empathy, not just for the characters… but maybe for the writer too.

Hii author ji!!
I don't think i commented within the books till now . I’m such a mood-based commenter, but here I am popping back in after gobbling up The Thakurain and Rajneeti in just one day (yep, 4 days back and I’m still not over it, reread thakurain twice). The writing was just too good! Keep slaying with your words, I’m sending loads of love and support your way. Can’t wait for the next Bairi Dil chapter ✨

Loved the thukarian, the bittersweet but realistic way she never was able to conceive was written incredibly. I could imagine each frame in the story , like a movie.
          Amazing author!♥️

Sorry for posting it here -- I truly hope it's okay.

I understand this space belongs to another amazing author, and I really appreciate your kindness and understanding for letting me share this here.

I'm a first time author, and " ENIGMA: UNVEILED " os my debut -- a story filled with slow-burn emotions, complicated hearts, and silent chaos.

If you enjoy intense love stories with depth, I'd be so grateful if you gave it a try.

Your support means everything to me.

RajasStory

The air in the room was thick with the scent of jasmine and fear. Not the fear of the unknown, as it had been on her wedding night, but the fear of the inevitable. Sambhu stood over her, his eyes gleaming with a predatory hunger.

Kamli, her body trembling, tried to shrink further into the shadows, but there was nowhere to hide. The bed, adorned with silk and gold, loomed over her like a monstrous beast. She remembered the whispers from the village women – "the first night,"

they called it, a sacred rite of passage, a transition into womanhood. But for Kamli, it felt like a descent into a living nightmare.

It's her story it's her struggle from the heart of Rajasthan.. when being a child widow at the age of sixteen was a curse. We won't understand her struggle.. we won't feel her pain..
