Hi everyone
First, I owe you an apology.
I never intended to disappear or stop writing A Reaper’s Wings. Life shifted very quickly for me. I’m currently working full-time as a 911 dispatcher while balancing a second job, and my schedule has been wild. I now have a very realistic grasp on what the human body can survive and unfortunately, what it can’t.
But please know this was never me abandoning the story or you.
I still fully intend to finish this series.
Right now, I’m deep into the third draft of Reaping the Red Heir. When I do have bits of free time, I’m pouring everything into a full revision. The entire book is being reworked. Some chapters are being cut for better pacing and stronger progression. A lot of new scenes are being added.
But the biggest change has been Skyla.
Rewriting this book has allowed me to lean fully into who she actually is. In earlier drafts, I held parts of her back. This time, I didn’t filter her. She feels sharper, more consistent, and more true to herself. And because of that, the entire story feels stronger.
It’s going to feel like a completely new reading experience, and I’m so excited about what it’s turning into.
My plan is to self publish once revisions are complete. The first draft will remain on Wattpad for now, but the revised version will be a polished, expanded edition.
When it’s ready, I would love to do a giveaway of a physical copy of the new revised Reaping the Red Heir. For those outside of the U.S., I’m planning to do an ebook pre-release giveaway so no one feels left out.
Thank you to everyone who has written asking where I’ve been. It means more than you know that you’re still here and still waiting for this story.
I promise I’ll update you as soon as it’s ready. And once this revision is complete, I’ll be able to shift my focus back to the second book.
I also haven’t forgotten about my read for reads. I appreciate your patience more than you know.

@eden_ari Please don’t feel guilty about having been inactive for awhile. Everyone gets busy sometimes and being a 911 dispatcher full-time is a pretty important job so good on you for doing it AND still be thinking about how to progress your writing! It’s very nice to get an update on where you’ve been however don’t feel pressured to rush into writing. On another note, exciting to hear about the self publishing, can’t wait!!!
