Hey lovelies  I’ve been trying so hard to get tonight’s chapter ready, but I’ve been down with the flu and it’s definitely taken a toll on my writing. Rather than posting something that doesn’t meet my standards (or yours!), I’m taking my husband's advice to hold off for now. I’m aiming to have the chapter up by Wednesday instead! I’m really sorry for the delay. I hate missing an update. Thanks so much for your patience and support.

Hey! Thank you so much. I’m immunocompromised, and unfortunately, the flu turned into a lung infection, and I haven’t been able to shake it. I’ll be getting chest X-rays soon, so hopefully, we can get some answers. I really appreciate you checking in and reading more chapters. I promise I haven’t forgotten about you or your book!

@rikaaraji468 Also, I saw a reply from you a while back when I asked if you were thinking about publishing, but I forgot to respond and when I came back to it, it was gone! I don’t know a ton since this is my first time publishing, but if you ever want to chat about it or need any tips, I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned so far!

@rikaaraji468 Haha, yeah, totally fair. I think it can depend on the genre, but nothing is necessarily a rule. I’m just nitpicking because I’m self-publishing Reaping soon. The finished stuff probably doesn’t matter to most people, but right now, I’m hyper-aware of every little detail!

Hey guys, sorry I don’t have a chapter up tonight. I was in a hit-and-run accident and ended up in the ER with a concussion. I’m resting now and hoping to get a chapter out later this weekend. Thanks for understanding!

Whoa! Reaping jumped from 8K to 10K reads overnight! I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of you—thank you so much for reading! And as if today couldn’t get any better, I also got a new Ragdoll kitten… who may or may not be named after a certain sociopath. Hehe.

My book characters are on a 24/7 loop in my head and I'm still deciding if that's a blessing or a curse. Maladaptive queens, where you at? Let's form a support group! I fear I cannot recover...

@rikaaraji468 It's not super well known! I'm referring to maladaptive daydreaming. This is the description: maladaptive daydreaming describes a condition where a person regularly experiences daydreams that are intense and highly distracting — so distracting, in fact, that the person may stop engaging with the task or people in front of them.
