I groaned and tried my locker combination once again, when that didn’t work I hit my head against the hard metal, sighing. I’d just dropped Ivy off in the day care building and was already running late to class and still had to get my books for my first few classes.
Ivy and I had been coming to school with the twins for the last few days since it was pointless us all driving from across the road in separate cars to the same place when we could all fit into one car. So far the week had passed uneventfully. I spent all of my free time with Riley, Ivy, Ryder or Lola or doing school work I hadn’t caught up with yet.
Things with Riley were going well and we were constantly telling each other that we loved them as new couple usually are. And that’s what we were now; a couple. The pack knew it, everyone at school knew it, his family knew it and we knew it. He’d being sleeping in my room at the pack house with me every night and the nightmares hadn’t made a single appearance which I was grateful for. Lola, Ryder and I had formed a sort of threesome and were getting along greatly. It surprised me that those two had only ever known each other by name before now. Julia and Louis, Ryder’s two friends that I’d met on my first day here, were also really great and it was nice to talk about just regular things like classes and gossip around them instead of werewolf stuff for once.
