          For those of you who don’t follow my social media, I wanted to share with you that both Soul Moon: First Encounter and A Soul’s Caress: Breathe received a 5 star review from the Reader Views writing contest! They’ve both made it through the first round of judging. Winners will be announced in Nov. I also received glowing reviews on both stories which I have to say feels pretty damn good!

My apologies for posting this announcement late. I published this chapter last night but was so exhausted I completely forgot to let everyone know it was up. See, the Cat Distribution System decided my daughter was due to find her yearly abandoned litter of kittens this year on Wednesday. Before she called me to ask me to house them until we found permanent homes for them, this chapter was just flying onto the screen. It felt good not to have to struggle for words or ideas. The house was quiet and I was alone, having moved my youngest and final daughter out of the house the day before. 
          
          However, after these 4 underweight babies arrived, my life was no longer peaceful and I couldn’t seem to find large chunks of time to write. I don’t blame them ofc. Or my daughter. She didn’t right thing and saved them from the side of the road because someone dumped them into the big dangerous world most likely days prior. 
          
          Last night, I was finally able to make this chapter coherent with all the random ideas that came to me usually at 3am. It’s actually when I do my best thinking (it’s 4am right now but I’ve been up for a bit). 
          
          I hope you enjoy it. It was not the second chapter I thought I was going to write but rather the one that NEEDED to be written.

OMG!!! It’s finally here!!! I am buzzing with excitement! Yes I know I’m using too many exclamation points but I don’t care!!!!! The first chapter of the second Soul Moon book may have taken me forever to write and be happy with but I know you’re all going to love it!! Please share your thought and feelings! I can’t wait to read them!!!!

Alright, I've made a decision. Don't panic, but I'm going to mark my short story book as complete. There are 2 reasons for this. One is that I probably won't write one for a while because I'll be busy working on Soul Moon 2. The other reason is that many readers (myself included) will only read finished stories. It's happened to me so many times that I started an amazing story only to discover that the author hasn't updated in months or even years. So for now, I'm going to mark it as complete. When I do decide to write another one-shot, I'll add it and change it to ongoing until it's done. 
          I'm on vacation at a lakehouse next week! I'm so looking forward to getting away. I organized my notes for SM: First Shift and even did more research on Norse mythology. I'm stoked to start it!!!!!!!

Ugh!! I thought I was going to have this chapter out last week! I also thought I was going to be able to stick to my 5 chapters only goal. WRONG!!!! These two just wouldn’t cooperate. But after this one there’s DEFINITELY only 2 chapters left.
