My little sister is on with her math tutor in the other room and I just heard her say: “2 x 2 = 4.” Then a minute passed and she said “uhmm… 2 x 2 = 4, 18 19.”
She’s ten. In fifth grade.
I’m not sure how much this tutor is helping her.

Wow! Uhm, this is kind of hard to write but I am going to take a little break from the internet for the next few weeks. This may seem sort of sudden but I was just told that a family member passed away last night- so um.. yeah.
I will also be a lot less active over the next two weeks because I’ll be attending a sleep away camp that doesn’t allow phones. I promise that I’ll update clips when I get back as well as starting a new book that I’ve been drafting for a while:))
Good news! My mom quit her current job and will only be with them until the end of the month. This is good news because she hates her job for the most part. She was hired to work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but ends up working from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. without being paid any overtime on a daily basis. She has been forced to take on not only extra projects from her new boss, but also the roles of a completely unrelated job that she now has to do. This job has made her very unhappy and she likes to take out her anger on my younger sister and I by criticizing every little thing we do wrong. She has a new job lined up that starts a week after her notice period ends, and she will be much happier when she starts there due to a considerable pay raise and much better and more flexible hours. I believe that this will slow down updates on my miserum book.
