@eggyeuls hi laura! ~ i wasn’t notified about your reply, but i wish i was. now this is such a late response T-T you definitely sounded so busy though, oh my. classes, 3 jobs, and more responsibilities sound stressful, but i hope you were able to handle it! i hope you’ve been treating yourself well and maybe gotten the chance to socialize and make creative works since? you definitely deserve that. and it’s absolutely no problem you haven’t caught up in TSD! i completely understand, and you’ve been so sweet already <3 writing TSD definitely gives me so much joy, and i’ll be incredibly sad once it ends :’’) thank you so much for your support!! <333 life has been okay for me recently! i’m on summer break, so i’ve been able to write more. i’ve also been trying to look around for jobs, but the job market has been very challenging :’) nonetheless, i try to use my free time to do things i love, like writing! i hope you’re eating well and living life to the fullest, laura. you deserve great times <3

Life’s been incredibly busy on my end. I started studying abroad last October and for a while I was juggling three jobs just to make it all work financially. I had to scale that back to two now tho, but my days still mostly consist of working, trying to keep up (or catch up) with classes + scripts, as well as ambassador responsibilities — and occasionally even getting some sleep (barely, haha). I haven’t been on Wattpad (or done anything creative, really) in months. I genuinely miss socializing, designing and just all of it, but I just haven’t found a way to fit it in. (╥﹏╥)
I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to catch up with TSD like I originally planned. I was really excited for Part 2 and now I’ve even seen that Part 3 is already underway! It’s seriously inspiring and so impressive how much effort you put into your writing — I wonder how you manage all that, but more importantly I hope it brings you joy more often than not. You deserve all the appreciation, support and love for everything you’re doing. I promise I’ll join back in as soon as I get the first chance! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

@DEVILILOV so sorry, I missed out on this follow-up question. I use procreate on my iPad and formerly also had a Photoshop/Adobe subscription for my MacBook. But since I haven’t had time to do much creative work for a while now, I canceled my Photoshop/Adobe subscription for now.

Thank you for your input on this — I truly appreciate to hear another perspective on this matter. However, I must respectfully disagree with the suggestion. In my experience so far with my shops and requesters, I've found that I consistently provide clear information in multiple places regarding whether my services are open or closed, as well as details about what the services consist of. I believe that taking a moment to read through this information, even if just the book descriptions, is a reasonable expectation I’m allowed to have for anyone looking to work with me. It demonstrates a mutual respect for each other's work and efforts, which is important to me.

I‘d like to inform you all that I unfortunately have to extend the judging period by a few days. A lot has being going on this past week and on top of that I just caught a bad cold. I had hoped that giving up one of the two „judging“ weeks as an extension for you to complete your entries, instead of pushing the entire schedule would work out just fine, but I guess I overestimated myself there — I’m so sorry for causing these troubles now!
I will finish up all the reviews and reorganization of the project (in terms of teams, upcoming rounds etc. after the withdrawals) by October 25th latest and update the calendar visuals as soon as possible!

In hindsight of recent news I’ve come to remember where my Wattpad journey started and how I ended up at where I am in life right now. How I wouldn’t have met most of my closest friends; wouldn’t have shaped myself into who I am through certain hobbies, career choices and all that; wouldn’t have had the chance to create “eggyeuls” and all that it stands for nowadays, all the doors it opened up for me; might not even be here all together — if it weren’t for little me, from over a decade ago, whose entire world was a Boyband called “One Direction”.
I’m more than aware of the recent discourse around Liam Payne and I still stand by any victims coming forward with their experiences. I stand for everyone’s right to speak up and be heard — and simultaneously I don’t support any plain bullying-for-entertainment. This situation really shows how we never learn from anything, it highlights how so many of us lack basic compassion and understanding for there being a time and a place for everything.
I personally think you can acknowledge the absolute tragedy of a human being placed into such extreme spotlight at a way too young age, breaking under the immense pressure, dealing with severe (mental) health and substance struggles — while simultaneously acknowledging that (allegedly or not) people have been hurt and that he has caused harm to himself and others in one way or another. One does not erase the other and both can exist at the same time.

Victim blaming, pointing fingers at anyone, speculating whether this was an accident or not and joking about the situation in ways that are beyond disgusting is not the way to go. Right now the focus should be on acknowledging the hardships that his loved ones (and anyone else affected!) are going through right now — not just because of the event itself and the grief it comes with, but also with how it’s being treated online. At the end of the day Liam Payne was also someone’s friend and family member. A little 7 years old boy just lost his father.
With all that said, you are allowed to have conflicting feelings and opinions about this. You are allowed to acknowledge the serious and sensitive discourse while simultaneously grieving the loss. I personally am not grieving the Liam Payne that (allegedly) has harmed innocent people and has stood in beyond negative spotlight lately — but I’m grieving the Liam Payne that was a part of something that so strongly shaped my childhood and who I am now; the Liam Payne that was an important loved one to others and the Liam Payne that had potential to live a better life and be a better version of himself if he would’ve gotten whatever help he needed.
My thoughts are with anyone and everyone grieving with this loss. Liam Payne, may you rest in peace now.
