Can I write a story inspired by yours? It won’t have the same plots, just a few similar themes, like the idea of childhood friends navigating their feelings and societal expectations. I also love the cliché moments, like him throwing rocks at her window and showing up with blood—though in my story, it will be for an entirely different reason. Your story is so good that I couldn’t resist incorporating some elements. Of course, I will give you full credit for the inspiration.
