I was born in London and brought up in Norfolk. I returned to study at the London College of Fashion and worked as a designer, specializing in dresses and soft separates, for the British fashion supply chain. I have always enjoyed drawing, designing, reading and writing.

I enjoy writing modern day family sagas that are very tangible and real, and take much inspiration from life itself (they say that truth is stranger than fiction). I often like to add a little historical or ghostly angle here and there, for depth and creating atmosphere. Also, my humour is slightly dark and depreciating, so I try and incorporate this into my work. I steer clear of "too-good-to-be-true" characters and love creating multi-dimensional individuals that the reader will really want to get to know.

I live inside my own head, and find it quite a wonderful place to be!
