Well, after nine months of waiting, my story pitch was rejected by Wattpad creators. I can't tell from my Google Doc writing sample I submitted if anyone even read it.  Is anyone interested in reading a story about an immortal phoenix who finds love in a small town? Should I release the story here for you all to read? I feel like I've been having a hard time finding an audience lately, and it's so hard to get followers. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello friends! I find short stories difficult but rewarding, so entering the Shortys this year was a fun experience. I took a brief break from Voiceless to work on something new. Two of my books made it to the second round of the Ambys. I was a little nervous about my chances with Sage and the Sorcerer and Dancing in the Rain, but very happy to see them on the list. Congratulations to everyone else who made it too! I love seeing so many writers get acknowledged for such hard work. 
          
          This week's update for Voiceless is Cassi's first date with a prince. I had fun with this scene, and there's more coming. I've written 6 chapters past my published work, and I'm so excited for everyone to see where this book is going. I know it's not a traditional vampire book, so I appreciate everyone who's given it even a chapter or two.
